Adult Dog Training

Your dog pulls on the leash or barks? He doesn’t come when summoned or goes hunting? Your dog is afraid of everything or can’t stay at home alone? I offer individual dog training and as every relationship between a dog and its owner is unique, we start the dog training with a detailed conversation.

This conversation enables us to get to know each other and for me to understand the actual relationship between you and your dog. Behavior issues and their background will be thoroughly be discussed. Together we will define achievable goals for the future life. Furthermore I will recommend first actions for the life at home and illustrate roughly the following training steps.

Individual dog training (one-to-one)

One-to-one advice is the most effective way to tackle behavior issues. The advantage is that the complete training course can be adapted individually to you and your dog. Conflicts can be faced where they occur and you and your dog will get the time to try as long as it takes for the message to sink in.

Usually 4-6 hours of dog training are necessary to reach the defined goals.

Individual dog training (group)

Depending on the kind of behavior issue, a group training might be suitable after our first one-to-one training session. In any case, training in groups is a good possibility to practice the contents of the one-to-one training.

In small groups of not more than 6 participants we simulate different situations at different places. The level of difficulty will be increased step by step.
